Hope everyone had a good easter ours was really good. We had a great easter egg hunt at grandma and grandpas (see the boys blog). And on Sunday we all got to meet Jenny's boyfriend;) He is absolutely great by the way and we all love him and can't wait to see him again. {ok Jenn I need my twenty bucks now, just teasing Billy} He really is a great guy and we had a lot of fun. I am also very excited because he won tickets to 9 to 5 on broadway and won't be able to make it so he is giving his ticket to me and I get to go to New York with Jenn to see it. Yeah watch out New York here I come. I can hardly wait. Thanks again Billy and Craig thanks also for staying home for two days alone with the kids so that I can go. You are the best husband. This is one of the last two cards that we did in my final stamp club. I thought that it looked like a grasshopper but was informed after it was done by Jacob that it is actually a cricket. They both jump so aren't they technically the same thing. I am kind of sad for club to end but also excited to be able to use more of my stamps. So many times I only used current since that is all we can demo, and I have a lot of cute retired ones that I would still really like to use. Hope everyone is doing great and had a wonderful easter. Thanks for looking.

I thought that I had pictures on my camera of a couple of other cards to add but don't. So I had this one that I will add really quick instead. I thought that this turned out cute and really liked the color combos. This was Craigs valentines card that I made for him valentines morning when I realized that I had forgotten a card and he had one for me. I know terrible wife, hard to believe that I used to read almost all of the cards before getting one for him. I like to blame the kids for it but it but I know that it is me being lazy. I did really like the colors on this one though and the olive you stamp is one of my favorites. I don't have the recipe though and am to lazy to go get my book and put it together right now. Thanks for looking.

Craig and I spent a weekend in Vegas together he had been there for three weeks for work and I flew down to drive home with him. We spent three days before the drive though without the kids and it was very nice. We stayed in the Hilton Grand Vacation on the strip. Neither of us is all that crazy about Vegas but the hotel was awesome. All I ended up with were a few pictures of the hotel. I guess once you have seen Vegas once that is all you need. But it was nice to just relax and not feel like we needed to get a lot done. Usually on vacation we spend all sorts of time running and sight seeing and come home more tired then when we left. We spent a lot of time hanging out and relaxing in the hotel room. I think I took a nap every day that we were there and uninterupted. We also went and saw two of the Cirque shows while we were there. Ka at the Belagio and O at the MGM. They were both very good but my favorite was O, Craigs favorite was Ka. We did have a lot of fun and even though I was tempted to ask Craig if he would mind if I flew home I took the drive instead and am glad that I did. It was kind of fun to be on a road trip without the kids in the back asking every three minutes if we were almost there. Not that I don't love them but you know how it is. Hope everything is going well for all of you. Thanks for looking.

Here is my last card that I had to add. It is once again with the just jawing stamp set I also used the halloween paper from last year. Which I really love and now wish that I had ordered more of while it was still available. This post is dated for earlier in the month because I saved the picture but I am late posting. We are in Las Vegas for a quick getaway without kids. Craig has been here for three weeks for trade shows for work and I flew in this morning to spend a couple of days and then we will head home. Driving yes my very favorite thing to do I must really love him cause truth be told I kind of wanted to say I'll fly in for the weekend but I better fly home to be with the kids and you can drive it by yourself. And you can think I am horrible but lets face it who wouldn't prefer an hour long flt to a six hour drive. Hopefully I am not the only one out there. Yes Craig is reading this over my shoulder and now he knows what a horrible wife I am. Surprise surprise I guess that big surprise is that it really isn't a surprise after all. We are going to go and see a couple of cirque shows this weekend thanks to my sisters great boyfriend Billy. Hi Billy and Jenn and thanks again so very much. Unfortunately he couldn't make the trip at the last moment so Jenn went to New York instead and it is just Craig and I for the weekend. Well I want to say Hi to my boys really quick if they are reading and we love you.

My recipe is written down at home next to my work computer so I am going to try and recreate it
Paper: basic black, pumpkin pie and old olive
Ink: versamark with pearlex for the skull and black for the flowers
Stamps: just jawwing
Other: flower fusion, brads, pretties kit, black grosgrain ribbon and the black and white checkered (that I can't remember the name for right now) I zigzag stitched the two ribbons together with white thread.

Thanks for looking have a great weekend.

Ok I don't know why I try and put deadlines on myself it just doesn't work. Here is another card that I made last week or the week before this was done with Craig in mind. He is a huge Jack fan. I could have sworn that I had boughten some Nightmare stickers, when I noticed the spider web thingy on this paper it reminded me of those. Well I can't find the stickers but I had held onto the tag off of something Jack that we had boughten. So I just cut the head off of it and made a gift card instead of a bigger one. I thought that it turned out pretty cute when I showed it to Craig he just nodded indifferently. I think that he just blocks me out when I start talking stamping, oh well I guess I do the same when he starts yammering on about that one really lame sport that seems to be popular right now. You know the one where they chase that little bouncy ball around on the court and try to throw it up in the hoops hanging from the ceiling. Hahaha. Sorry Craig you know I don't follow the volleyball though. Bet you don't know what show that is from. Hope everyone is doing well, we are missing Craig but things are going good. Jacob and I have been using the cricket machine like mad today I think that we went through 3 packages of paper but we had fun. I got it for christmas and just barely pulled it out and I can't believe that I haven't used it before now. It was so much fun.

Recipe:
Paper: Halloween paper from last fall mini catalog, basic black

Other: pumpkin grosgrain ribbon and Jack tag

Thanks for looking and hope everyone is happy and loving life.

Another card with just jawing...does that surprise you? I guess it really shouldn't can I say that I think that I dream about this set at night. Yes I do I still love it. I also used the new rockabilly paper for it as well and I really like that paper as well I think that I am going to order like 10 packages of it so I don't run out. I was even thinking I might wallpaper my bedroom in it while Craig is out of town next week. Just kidding sweety (well kind of if nothing else the cost will stop me at two sheets per package I just can't afford it). We are getting ready for Craig to leave us for a few weeks which makes us sad but we have our big bad dog Jumba to fill in for him (at least that is the way that Jacob put it the other day). Easter candy is also out and I am proud to say that I am no longer even tempted by it. Not saying that this will last but it did make me feel good. I sat at the table with Craig and the kids the other night as they ate their first cadbury eggs of the season and I didn't once feel the urge to get out the fondue forks and fight anyone to the death for them. I think that that must be a good sign right. Well I hope that everyone is doing good and Julie I really hope that you saw my shout out yesterday if not here is another one. Oh and by the way I have also just recently discored the food blogs aren't they a ton of fun I love them. One of these days I am going to get ambitious and start making some of the things that I see on them. I did make my kids a special three choc hot cocoa this weekend it took two and a half hours. Jenny likes to point out that if I had made it on the stove instead of the crockpot like the recipe called for that it would have not taken nearly as long. But I like to point out all of the cooking time cause it makes it sound like a bigger deal then it really was. I got to play it when I can right. Well enough for now and on to the recipe for the card.
Recipe:
Paper: kiwi kiss, riding hood red, rockabilly paper
Ink: Basic black, versamark
Stamps: just jawing
Other: flower from pretties, clear rhinestone brad, silver brads, tab punch, 1 3/8 cir punch, scallop circle.
Thanks for looking.

shout out to julie

I tell you I am completely obsessed with this just jawing set. I have more cards to post that I made with it as well. I am really really going to try and make a more concentrated effort into getting stuff posted on here at least every two to three days. Right now I actually have several cards so hopefully I can post all week. My house is in total chaos right now, but lately it always is. I am cleaning out all of my kitchen cupboards though and getting rid of the excess. We have to much and no where to store it all. I am also always trying to do something with my basement. We have completely rearranged it and we got one of those big wall units from IKEA and Craig spent a day last weekend putting it together for me and we set it up so that it kind of makes a barrier between my stamping area and the rest of the room it looks really good. He did a great job. Well thanks for looking and like I said I will try and get a post on everyday this week until I am caught up with the cards that I have to add.

Recipe:

Paper: Bella rosa, riding hood red, chocolate chip, pink pirouette

Ink: Basic black and riding hood red

Stamps: just jawing

Other: jumbo binder clip, old olive grosgrain ribbon, choc chip twill tape, pretties kit (flowers and pearl) brown felt flowers, silver brads and pink rhinestone brads.

I also took a carousel notes and traced it onto the paper I wanted to use and cut it out.

Thanks for looking. Oh and let me give a great big shout out to my friend JULIE.
