This card is for my mom she wanted some cards out of the Woodland Cottage set. I brought the set to my house to play with and this is the first card that I have made for her. I am not a big fan of watercolor but think that this one didn't turn out to bad. Of course this is just a sample for her and I am sure that with a little bit more time spent on watercoloring she will make it look fabulous. I do like the way that the card turned out but I also have a fixation with eggplant and artichoke. This is all stampin up product. Thanks for looking.

Stamps: Woodland Cottage

paper: Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Elegant Eggplant, Ivory

Here is my stamp club project from last night I really do like the way that it turned out although I was a little nervous at first. I wasn't sure that I liked the colors after it was all said and done. But I have decided that what I don't like about it is the bright yellow sticky notes. So I will have to go out and buy a different color but that was all that I had on hand and since I tend to procrastinate I had to use it. I did leave it on for the picture though so that you knew that was what it was for. The calendar is only attached to the paper under it with the two brads at the bottom. I did it this way so that you can trade it out every month. Brads are only at bottom and then it is just stuck under clip. The only problem with this project was getting the paper around the clip at the top. Not my favorite part of the project, but we all managed with only a few casualties.
Stamps: Background basics, calendar
Paper: Whisper white, Basic black, Wild wasabi, Purely pomegranate
Ink: Purely pomegranate
Punches: 3 for you, 5 petal punch, Spiral punch
also used large flower and rhinestone brad from pretties kit, clear buttons, black brads, flower fusion and pumpkin pie striped grosgrain ribbon.

Ok here is the last card that I made using this set, I confess this is my favorite it is also my first acetate card. Well second I did case another one but this is my own creation so its still my first kind of right? These cards are so much fun to make and I really like the way that they turn out. The card is acetate, Elegant eggplant, Lavender lace, Not quite navy and Whisper white. Elegant eggplant, Not quite navy classic ink Whisper white craft ink. The white is stamped on the acetate itself, this is the only thing that I don't like about these cards is that it takes so long for the ink to dry on the acetate. And you still have to be careful with it even after it has dried I find that it still smears very easily. The background is by definition and the cat set again, sorry can't remember the name of it. The ribbon on this card is just a silver ribbon from joannes but I have also made it with a double wrap of the silver cording from stampin up in this case I actually prefer this ribbon though. The flower is an old discontinued flower punch from stampin up as well but I don't have the name to it anymore. Small flower in center is from the three for you punch. I also used the rhineston brad from the pretties kit. I really like the pretties kit but find that I use up all of the flowers and not so much of the other stuff. I need to work on this I am on my third kit for flowers. My stamp club meets tomorrow night so I am off to finish my projects with any luck I will have them posted in the next couple of days.

My husband says I need a picture box, and I promise to get one but in the mean time this is my pictures. Papers that I used are More mustard, Elegant eggplant and Old olive. The Old olive paper has been split and crumpled and then I stamped on the textured side. Elegant eggplant ink. Olive felt flower, mustard ribbon, flower from pretties kit died eggplant and Antique brass hodgepodge hardware. Oh I almost forgot the spiral punch, one of my favorites. This one is with my favorite cat set again it is retired but still good. Funny I can't stand cats but love this set.

Ok here it is my first card to post to my blog. Sorry so long in coming, but after setting this up originally I had some computer problems and then the flu passed thru the whole family. This cat set is one of my favorites I know it is retired but I have had a lot of fun pulling it out and using it again. The card is tempting turquoise, old olive and flowers for you. You can't really tell from the picture, but the paper that the cat itself is stamped on is the turquoise paper from flowers for you, it has little flowers printed on it in a slightly different shade of the color. The ink is taken with teal I stamped off for it first. Ribbon is the narrow twill tape I also stamped the meow stamp on it. the 5/8" old olive grosgrain ribbon. I also used silver brads, small old olive buttons and a small flower from the pretties kit died turquoise.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my boys. I think it shows a little of their true personalities. We spent two weeks in Disneyworld with the whole family in Dec 2008. It was a great trip and we had so much fun. We are very greatful for the fun times and opportunity. And I am greatful for all of the photos to help preserve the memories.
